ADS-B Installation and Testing
SAE provides the full installation and testing of the Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast (ADS-B) System from different STC owners in the aviation marketplace. The ADS-B system automatically broadcast aircraft surveillance data to ATC and nearby aircraft. Our Avionics Team are highly experience with the multiple ADS-B retrofit packages.
The mandates for the installation of the ADS-B system in the USA falls under 14 CFR Part 91.225 and Part 91.227, which has been in effect since 1 January 2020, and unless otherwise authorized by ATC, no person may operate an aircraft in Class A airspace unless the aircraft is equipped with ADS-B system. Similar mandates are also required in Europe by EASA and other countries.
